Delivery Information

When will my order be dispatched?

All orders received before 1pm Monday-Friday (Excluding UK Bank & Public Holidays) are guaranteed for same day dispatch.

Who do you send my order with?

We dispatch all orders via a next working day service with our chosen delivery partner Parcelforce. Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an email from us with a tracking number for your order.

Parcelforce will also send delivery notifications to the email address and phone number provided when your order is placed. This will include a one-hour delivery window and the driver’s name. You can also use the available interactive in-flight delivery options below:

  • Deliver to a neighbour (choosing before hour delivery slot)
  • Deliver to a local post office (choosing before hour delivery slot)
  • Deliver tomorrow
  • Deliver the day after tomorrow

Here at BioD we take the time to ensure we choose the right delivery partner to ensure your orders arrive with you in a timely manner whilst also taking our environmental responsibilities seriously.

Our chosen delivery partner Parcelforce have the below comprehensive programme of activities to reduce their impact on the environment and invest in third-party environmental initiatives.

Services
Our unique range of delivery and redelivery options were designed to support what we believe is the best first-time delivery performance within the UK express carrier industry. By significantly reducing the number of parcels that require a second delivery attempt, we’ve also reduced our fuel consumption.

Vehicles
We have over 1,100 eco-start delivery vans. Using the latest stop-start technology, the van’s engine cuts out when stationary (e.g. at traffic lights) lowering our carbon emissions. We’ve comprehensively trialled electric and hybrid vehicles and aerodynamic trailers and we’ll continue to review environmentally friendly commercial vehicles to ensure we lead the way as a responsible express carrier. We’ve also switched UK parcels from air to road distribution, contributing to a significant reduction in the overall carbon we generate.

Buildings
We’ve installed smart gas and electricity meters so we can monitor usage, identify areas for improvement and track the success of energy reduction initiatives.

Training, recycling and waste management
We’re testing the effect of additional driver training throughout our fleet to support MPG improvement targets and will be deploying new MPG performance monitoring methods to support this. We recycle wherever possible and are working hard to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill to an absolute minimum.


How much is delivery?

Orders with a value >£50.00 will qualify for free shipping with Parcelforce Express 24*

Orders with a value <£50.00 will have a shipping cost of £7.96 and are dispatched with Parcelforce Express 24*

*Remote area delivery charges may be applicable for certain addresses and there will be the option to request a delivery quote at the checkout stage when placing an order. Lead times for remote areas may also vary however you should receive your order within 1-4 working days from dispatch. Please Note: We do not currently ship to addresses outside of the United Kingdom.


Do you offer a pick up point service for orders?

We are very happy to offer a pick up point for our customers wishing to collect their orders. We have a speedy team and orders are typically ready to collect within just 2 working hours of placing via our website. We will send an email when the order is ready to pick up – here’s a quick FAQ on how that works:

  • We are open for pick up between 9am & 4pm Monday – Friday (exc. Bank Holidays)
  • Please provide proof of purchase (email or printed).
  • Pick up from our fulfilment site “D&AGF Ltd, Unit 11a, Ipark, Innovation Drive, Hull, HU5 1SG”


Return Information

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with any item you ordered, just return it, if possible, in the original packaging within 30 days of the date of receipt and we will refund your money to your original payment transaction or send you a replacement.

Items returned under our returns policy must be unopened with any seals intact. Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. We are only able to replace identical products, so if you wish to order additional items it will be treated as a new order.

How to Return an Item/Order

When do I get my refund once I have returned an item?

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 21 days of receiving your return.

The Bio-D guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.

When you send your item back to us, we’ll process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 21 days of our receiving your return. Please note that the costs for returning the item to us are un-refundable.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will arrange for a collection with our courier for you.

We always try to process returns as soon as they arrive. However, during busy periods, please allow up to 21 days for your return or exchange to be processed. Please note that refunds for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer knowing.
