Can I wash the cloth?
Yes, we recommend 30 or 40 degrees
Why does the cloth shed lint?
“Generally all textiles made from natural fibres will shed during wash and wear as this is the nature of the yarns which are made up of short and long fibres.
Man-made fibres such as polyester and nylon will appear to have less shedding as the yarns are made up of a continuous filament / yarn. These are extruded into smooth ‘monofilament’ type yarn versus natural textiles which are woven from smaller staple yarns. These different length fibres enable the yarn to breakdown and biodegrade, unlike manmade fibres. ”
Are the dyes certified?
Yes, the dyes used on our bamboo cloths are bluesign® accredited. This standard ensures the dye house meet a high level of safety for people and the environment.
Will there be any shrinkage?
As with all natural textiles, there can be shrinkage during initial washes.
Can I tumble dry the cloth?
The cloth isn’t suitable for tumble drying. Hang dry naturally.
Why are the cloths different colours?
The cloths are different colours, so you can colour code a different cloth to different areas in your home.
