We ensure that no product goes to waste while supporting important causes. Our team has access to a dedicated area within our manufacturing site that stocks end-of-run and imperfect Bio-D products, such as bottles that weren’t filled to our exact standards.
Instead of letting these products go unused, staff can purchase them at a discounted rate, with 100% of proceeds donated to a chosen charity. Every quarter, our team votes on which organisation will receive the funds, ensuring we continuously support causes that matter to our employees.
We’re proud to support Hull Help for Refugees, a grassroots charity in our local community providing vital aid, such as clothing and small items, for displaced people locally, and supporting humanitarian projects abroad, reflecting Bio-D’s values.
Our Managing Director, Lloyd Atkin, is on the board of The Warren, a Hull based charity providing vital support services for young people, including mental health, education, and employment advice.
Lloyd is also a board member of For Entrepreneurs Only, where he shares his expertise with aspiring business owners, helping to foster local economic growth and innovation.
We actively support Run With It, a charity using sport and education to engage and inspire young people, helping them develop essential life skills.
