Always follow the instructions on the garment label. Pour liquid into machine dispenser or wash ball.
Soft Water:
Normal Soiling – 40ml
Heavy Soiling – 50ml
Handwash (10L) – 30ml
Medium Water:
Normal Soiling – 50ml
Heavy Soiling – 60ml
Handwash (10L) – 30ml
Hard Water:
Normal Soiling – 60ml
Heavy Soiling – 80ml
Handwash (10L) – 40ml
Try mixing with warm water to clean up any mishaps on carpets. You can also pre-treat stains before placing them in the washing machine with a small covering of Laundry Liquid.

I have long been a huge fan of Bio-D products but held off buying the laundry liquid as the smell (or lack of) put me off (in the bottle it smells a bit plasticky). However, I took the plunge and haven’t looked back. I have used it in several washes now, and to wash my dirty dog-walking, muddy jeans, and found that it performs just as well as a leading make of biological liquid I was using, but better because of its eco-friendly and cruelty-free credentials. The smell disappears on the clothes as soon as the cycle is finished and instead of a manufactured chemical smell hanging around, they just smell ‘clean’ (after all, clean washing shouldn’t really smell of anything, we are just used to these strong perfumes that are used in most supermarket washing powders and liquids!). I use it with Bio D’s fabric conditioner (unscented) and add a few drops of essential oils just to give my washing a feint floral smell, but other than that I am as happy as ever with Bio D products. Magic for allergy sufferers – and it actually works. I don’t know where we would be without Bio D. Both the liquid & the powder work and they don’t smell and aren’t prohibitively expensive.
They save us a fortune in electricity as before we discovered them we were double washing clothes to remove residues! Things like their multi surface cleaner & their glass cleaner are good too.
Five Star. So far so good, bought for my daughter with eczema and touch wood, this is not causing any issues.

It is a great product with no chemical perfume lingering in your wash. Arrived next day!! I use in conjunction with soda crystals in my machine. Will never use the supermarket laundry products again.It is a great product with no chemical perfume lingering in your wash.
It’s natural and cruelty free which is the main thing, but it’s not amazing at washing clothes. It takes away bad smells but it’s not great for stains, you need to scrub at them first! It’s great value though as you get loads. Overall it’s a good buy.
Cheap, avoids having to carry a heavy product home from the supermarket fairly frequently, and environmentally responsible. Also OK if you have allergies and – whilst not as marvellous at stain removing as biological if there are bad stains – is fine for most washing. And it doesn’t smell, or give rise to the risk of damaging your eyesight (which some new laundry products do, if you get them in your eyes!)

Good for everyday washing and like that it’s fragrance free. The 5L container is really difficult to open. If I was on my own I won’t be able to do it. I have to get my 9 year old son to open! Even my husband struggles … we are not old at 47!
