At Bio-D, we believe that making a positive difference starts with the people behind the products. From developing effective eco-friendly cleaning products to creating personal care products that are kinder to people and the planet, our team plays a huge part in everything we do.
That’s why, every year, we take the time to celebrate the people who make Bio-D what it is at our annual Soap Awards.
Our 2026 Soap Awards were a brilliant opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and recognise the hard work, dedication, creativity and teamwork shown by colleagues across Bio-D. And, of course, no Bio-D celebration would be complete without plenty of good food!
Celebrating the people behind Bio-D
For more than 35 years, Bio-D has been manufacturing effective eco cleaning and personal care products here in the UK. While our products are designed to make a difference in homes and businesses, it’s our people who make that possible.
Our annual Soap Awards give us the chance to recognise the individuals who consistently go above and beyond, demonstrate our values and contribute to making Bio-D a great place to work.
This year, we celebrated achievements across a number of categories, each highlighting a different quality or contribution that we value as a business.

We’re incredibly proud of all of our winners and all our team. Every member of our team contributes something valuable, and the Soap Awards are a great reminder of just how much we can achieve when we work together.
Pizza, people and plenty of celebration
Of course, an awards celebration needs some good food to go alongside the trophies and thank yous!
We were pleased to welcome Beverly Pizza Co back to Bio-D this year. They joined us on site and kept everyone well fed with plenty of freshly handmade vegetarian pizzas, giving the team the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy some food and celebrate together.
There’s something particularly enjoyable about bringing everyone together over pizza, especially after a busy year. It gave us the chance to catch up with colleagues, celebrate achievements and enjoy some time together away from our usual routines.
And with plenty of slices to go around, nobody was left hungry!

Celebrating our team is also an important part of our wider commitment to doing business differently.
Bio-D is proud to be a Certified B Corporation, meaning we are part of a global movement of businesses that are working to balance people, planet and profit.

Over 35 years of making a difference
Bio-D has been making eco cleaning products for more than 35 years, with a simple ambition: to create products that are effective, kinder and better considered for people and the planet.
Over the years, our range has grown from household cleaning essentials to include laundry products, washing up products, bathroom and kitchen cleaners, personal care products and more.
Today, we continue to develop and manufacture products with sustainability at their heart, while making sure they deliver on what matters most: getting the job done.
Our approach has always been about challenging the idea that choosing environmentally conscious products means compromising on performance. We believe you can have effective cleaning and personal care products while making more thoughtful choices about their impact.
Behind every product is a team of people who care about getting those details right, and that’s exactly why opportunities like our Soap Awards are so important.
A big thank you to our Bio-D team
While our Soap Awards recognise individual achievements, the day was really about celebrating the whole Bio-D team.
Every product we manufacture, every order we send out and every new idea we develop is the result of people working together. From manufacturing and operations to sales, marketing, sustainability, product development and everything in between, every role plays a part in keeping Bio-D moving forward.
So, a huge congratulations once again to all of our 2026 Soap Award winners, and a big thank you to everyone across the Bio-D team for their continued hard work, enthusiasm and commitment.
