We have moved to a house with a waste treatment system so we need to use eco friendly products. This is gentle on our skin as well as the environment, and unscented so no overpowering smell unlike some other products! I’ve been going to a local health food/refill shop (who recommended this product) to get the smaller bottles refilled but decided to buy this so we can refill at home.

Best Ever Washing Up Liquid. I am so happy to have recently found this product. Only need to use a very little, Makes it economical as well as all the other benefits. Good not to have nasty synthetic smells and to know that it is least damaging for the environment than all other products.
Love it. It’s amazing, works great and no nasty perfumes that won’t rinse off your cookware no matter how many times you rinse with clean water. Great for skin too. This brand is the best out there and the prices are incredible for the larger sizes. So glad I discovered this brand.
Superb. I have used only Bio D’s washing-up liquid for many years. It is very effective, reasonably priced, very economical in use, and it contains no objectionable ingredients. It’s the winner in all categories!
I admit it is not easy to get excited about washing-up liquid. But I do really believe in this stuff!
Great for stains. I need to buy more Bio-D – it’s really good. I use it on stains before washing(laundry); I just dribble it on the stain, give it a quick rub, put it in the washer with whatever else I’m washing, put the washing liquid in and off we go! When it comes out- the stain is gone ! I use it for the dishes too ! I’ve given it to friends to try on their children’s stained clothes too and they wanted more!
Comparison with Fairy. I have used Fairy (several fragrances) and they are all top notch at there job of cleaning the dishes and pans. However I have over the years suffered from dry hands, in brief contact dermatitis (so ID from the GP and skin specialists) and therefore been advised to use gloves to avoid contact with the dish water.
I have now started to use BIO D and have instantly noticed a difference in the harshness on my hands. In summary I am happy to use BIO D as the only dish washing product.
When you get BIO D it comes in a large 5 litre container, I as with Fairy transferred it to an old hand soap pump dispenser, with limits the amount to a desired amount you can control and it also prolongs the length of the product. I used to use 3 squirts of Fairy but I must admit I use 4-5 of BIO D, but at the cost of damage to my skin this is nothing.
In summary I and more than happy with BIO D and would not expect it to last as long as Fairy but the cost is trivial.
The best environmentally friendly option out there IMO. Bio-D gets top marks from me, leaves dishes squeaky clean. The best environmentally friendly option I’ve tried, beats ecover by “miles”.
This is a good product. It gets dishes clean and goes a long way. Like lots of eco washing up liquids, it has few bubbles- but that does not seem to make much difference

This is great washing up liquid. I used to use another brand before I discovered Bio-D (while searching for something else on Google maps) It’s great to find a local company making excellent quality products that cause minimal harm to the environment and don’t smell like the nasty Big Brand products. Also, everyone we’ve communicated with (in person and by email) at Bio-D have been super helpful and friendly. Excellent products and customer service.
