70% Wood pulp, 30% Cotton (offcuts from fashion waste) and water-based environmental inks

  • Freshen up in the washing machine (30-40 degrees Celsius)
  • Dry out between uses to prevent mould

Once well-used, cut up the sponge (this speeds up composting) and place in home compost bin

If you don’t compost, you can pop these in your usual household waste and be smug in the knowledge you haven’t generated plastic waste by switching to Seep

Packaging from sustainably sourced wood pulp (FSC-certified) and recyclable

Are these washable?

Yes, freshen up these cloths in the washing machine at 30-40 degrees.  They can be washed in both the washing machine and dishwasher.

How can I dispose of my sponge cloth?

Our sponge cloths are compostable.  So, cut them up (speeds up composting) and put them in your home compost.  They should take 8-12 weeks to break down.

What are the cloths made from?

The sponge cloths are made from 70% cellulose, 30% cotton and then printed using water based environmental inks. The cotton used is recycled from fibres that are too short to be used in fashion manufacturing, so nothing goes to waste!

Where are they made?

The patterns and designs are designed in-house. Once the colours and designs are confirmed, the cloths are then manufactured in Germany and printed in water based and environmentally friendly ink in Sweden.

The pattern I like is no longer in stock?

Our patterns are a limited time only, and rotate throughout the year. Typically we will have a pattern for 6-9 months.

How much can they absorb?

The cloths can absorb x 13 their weight.

How do I dry out my cloth?

Dry the clothes naturally. They are stiff when dry, but soften up as soon as water is added.
